How’s Your Money “Battery Life?”
Think about the battery life on your phone or your car.
For most people in today’s society, battery life is kind of a big deal. You can’t go anywhere or do anything when your battery life is low.
If your phone is at low battery, you either have to carry an external battery with you, or keep it plugged into an outlet. It’s a pain, and we’ve all been there!
Same thing with a car if your car is electric. The same can actually be said for gasoline vehicles as well. When you get low on battery life or fuel for your car, you start getting nervous. You start quickly calculating in your head how long you have left to go, and how long you have left until you need to stop by a charging/gas station.
Most people are constantly at 1% money “battery life”, and it’s super stressful
Think about constantly being at 1% or 2% battery life. You can’t do anything!
If the battery life on your phone or car can be used as an analogy to you having enough money, I think all of us would agree that most people are living life constantly at 1% battery life. And even if somehow you find yourself with 20% battery life, it’s very typical for the average person for that 20% battery to fall to 1% fairly quickly.
Because of this, you feel permanently stressed and trapped because at any time your phone can die! And if you’re anything like me, I get super stressed when either my phone or car gets low on battery. I feel limited, anxious, and annoyed.
Having enough money is like having 100% battery life, that never drains
Having enough money and being financially free is like having 100% battery life at all times.
Think about how awesome it would be if your phone or car can had an unlimited battery life. If you have a gasoline car, think about never having to fuel your car up at a gas station ever again because somehow you car is always fully filled and no matter how far you drive, it’s still 100% full!
How freeing would that be? And how would you feel?
Having passive income is like having an external battery with you, at all times!
Think about the times you’ve been at 1% or 2% battery life.
Now think about the relief you felt when you remembered that you had an external battery in your car, your purse, or if there was an outlet nearby that you can recharge at.
Well, that’s exactly how you feel with real life when you have a constant flow of passive income coming in, even when you’re not working.
Your passive income streams fully charges your battery back up while you sleep
To take this concept of passive income further, another way to think about it is that passive income never sleeps.
You sleep. Your phone sleeps. But passive income does not.
And neither does the electricity that’s going into your drained plugged-in phone when it’s in the outlet. The charge will continue coming whether or not you’re by your phone. It just charges by itself while you’re sleeping. You can sleep in peace knowing that you will be at 100% battery life when you wake! Nice!
A 9-5 job is like being stuck sitting next to the outlet when your phone is dead
Isn’t that similar to how most people feel about their jobs?
Like you’re forced to be there. You have no choice. If you don’t go to work, you will not make money. And if you’re like most people, you need money to pay the bills, feed yourself and/or your family, and be able to afford to do things in life.
So going to your job and sitting behind a computer or standing behind the counter is like being forced to stay by the outlet while your phone is charging.
For most people, their money “battery life” drains at the same pace as its charge rate
For most people, they simply get stuck. They have zero freedom of movement. Zero flexibility because their “charge rate” is the same as their “drain rate.”
So no matter how long you stay by the outlet, you can never go above 1 or 2% battery life!
Pretty much the maximum cap on your phone is constantly at 2% battery life because the charge isn’t strong enough to keep up with drain on the phone.
You’re practically chained to the electric outlet.
You need to create multiple streams of income; because it’s the only way to freedom
Look. There’s no other way. To get free from this prison life, you need to start planning and executing immediately.
Most everyone knows this. This isn’t rocket science. The average millionaire has 7 streams of income.
But how? Go online; think about how you can solve problems for people
Making money in today’s internet-based society has made money-making easier than ever before!
This is a fact.
Think about what problem you can solve for people, and you’ll be able to make money. It’s really that simple.
Are you good at playing the piano? Why don’t you make a YouTube channel and create piano-learning courses and sell it online?
It doesn’t take more than 1 day to set up an e-commerce platform. It’s never been easier to get set up and be open for business, with an access to an unlimited amount of potential customers.
Are you good at cooking? Why don’t you create a 10-minute-recipes E-book and sell it online?
Is this making sense? Are you getting the theme here? Don’t overthink this!
Even if all you’re good at is playing video games, you can making money using Twitch, or create an e-course on how to micro better.
There’s a never-ending amount of possibilities, if you leverage activities that you’re already good at in order to sell a value-added service.
Again, don’t over think this. Start something today!
How many income streams do you have and what income streams are you currently working on building right now? If you have only 1 income stream, what is a hobby that you currently have that you’re good at? How can you turn your hobby into a service or product?
