Spectators Only Spectate While the Players Make the Plays (Also, $100 Cash Winner Revealed!)
Lol don’t fixate so much on the picture of this post (whether you’re team GSW/Steph Curry or Lebron) because that’s not the point I’m trying to make! See what I did there? Haha. I’m weird.
Anyways, I want to ask you some questions:
Are you truly happy where you’re at?
Do you feel satisfied and fulfilled? Are you waking up in the morning excited or do you wake up with a feeling of dread and despair?
Are you in a place of complete freedom? Where you have full exercise over a multitude of options at your disposal? And indestructible financial stability and security for you and your family?
Are you gonna just continue to spectate or are you gonna get out there and participate?
Look, you’re either on the field or you’re in the bleachers. So at some point you need to get off your butt and do something about your situation; not just whine and complain.
I get it. There’s a time and place for complaining. You’re only human. It’s impossible to always stay positive and always be on top of things. I complain too. Yep, I said it. It’s normal. But the difference is, what do you do after? Is it just a cycle of drama and moaning? Groaning and complaining?
Or do you get it out of your system, and then determine to be better and do better?
These are two completely different ways of dealing with what life throws at you.
Stop talking and show up and do the work; be a better version of you
Have you met people like this?
All they do is talk. They never do whatever they’ve been saying for the past months and years. Maybe that’s you. Whoever it is, that’s just a sad situation and ultimately a sad life. Half of life is just showing up and doing the work. But are you only doing this at your 9-5 job? Are you seriously tired from your 40 hour work week? If you’re whining and working only 40 hours. Wow, you need a wake-up call. Because 40 hours is nothing if you want to build a foundation.
I know people who are holding down 2-3 jobs, working evenings and weekends, with 3 kids to feed as a single parent. There are people with all sorts of disabilities and mental issues who are making do with their situation and going out there and participating in life.
I worked 80+ hours a week for 9 straight years. I planted my crop. And now I’m enjoying the fruits.
How do you enjoy a harvest?
You gotta plant a crop, that’s how! But let me ask you something:
Are you planting just one crop? And barely at that, right? No good farmer plants on just one small plot of land. You need to plant multiple crops on multiple plots of land because the monsoon is coming and will destroy one of your crops. Sometimes locusts will come and ruin another one of your high-yielding crops. What’re you gonna do? Crying about your situation won’t feed your children!
Do the work. Build a strong foundation.
Like the Bible says in the book of Ecclesiastes, there are seasons in life
It’s not a fun life, if you’re hustling all the time. There needs to be times in your life where you can sit back and relax. Enjoy the fruits of your labor. I don’t know where you’re at in your life. You might be in a time of plenty. You might be in a season of drought and famine. We’re all in different places.
But like the diligent ant, you need to stock up your granary. You need to put in the hustle and grind so that you don’t end up like the grasshopper.
But what if I’m trying my best? But I’m still struggling?
Some of you might be thinking this. Tim, I’m trying my best but I’m barely surviving. Look, I’ve been there too. Maybe not exactly your situation but if you know my background, I didn’t have it exactly pretty. That’s why I had to put in the level of effort that most people would never dare to attempt.
I was so poor, when I got married to my wife, I kicked my brother out of the single room I was renting
True story: I rented a room from a friend for 6 years. I couldn’t live at my parents’ place. I wish! They’re missionaries so they’re not even here in the US.
So when my wife and I got married, we didn’t have a lot of choices. It’s not like I was raking in the dough. I was barely surviving; so unlike most people who get married in the states (or even South Korea), I didn’t move into a nice 2-3 bedroom apartment.
I had to do what I had to do. Which was kick my younger brother out (sorry Eli, lol), who was co-renting the single room with me at the time so we can save money. And my wife moved in. We lived like that for 3 years.
My wife worked the night shift as a CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant) to help with the bills and she worked as a receptionist at some sort of medical clinic. These are very low wage jobs.
Everybody has a story, but it doesn’t have to remain that way; what’s your story?
Your story doesn’t have to end the way it’s going right now. You have the choice to walk a different path!
So many of you are so afraid of trying new things, scared of new opportunities potentially being a scam, or afraid that you might fail, or not being sure if something will be worth the time, energy, and resources you put in to it…in fact, you’re so worried about these frivolous things that you pretty much guarantee nothing changing.
The end result is this: you remain where you’re at, where you’re doomed to a life of mediocrity.
Conclusion and Take-aways
Just read the sub-titles above, lol. And if it interests you, then read the rest of the paragraph.
This is a short post too btw, barely 1000 words. So do yourself a favor and spend the next 5 minutes and read through this post. I can’t imagine it not being helpful in some way or another.
Here’s some stuff you can try, if you want to do something involving me:
Join my private mentorship group (Elite Bloggers Guild) – I pay $10,000+ a month to multiple world-class coaches, so that I can in turn disseminate the same education and knowledge to the general public. Because let’s face it, most people can barely pay their bills, let alone cough up hundreds of thousands of dollars a year to pay for top-level coaching. This is why I created this group. To make accessible, what’s typically only accessible to the rich. Don’t believe me? Google my name. Multiple media outlets have interviewed me about this and I had to show them proof. Things like invoices and statements.
Advertise your business or blog (If no one knows your business exists, they can’t do business with you) – I kinda have a big following. I barely charge anything, so if you’re a business or you have your own website like a blog, it will make real good sense to advertise through my channels. Watch the video in the above link if you”d like to learn more about why this makes so much sense.
This is the cheapest and biggest no-brainer thing that each and every one of you need to do (at a bare minimum):
Go here (how to start a passive income blog) and sign up for hosting using my BlueHost referral link at the bottom of the page. Lol, please don’t say you can’t afford $2.95 a month. That’s just outright ridiculous. I can go outside and beg on the streets and make $100 in one day. The average homeless street beggar in the US makes something like $13 an hour. So really? You can’t afford less than $3 a month? (you stumbled upon the cash give-away hint 8/30/18 wowza! My dog is a breed of dog originating from Argentina, they’re bred to hunt wild boars and can kill a mountain lion, youtube it, it’s crazy, my dog is named after a gladiator that you all are probably very familiar of, he weighs around the average weight of a 9 or 10 year old here in the USA).
If you hate me for whatever reason, and don’t want to use my link, then fine, just sign up using another company’s hosting service, whatever! Just get it done (but it does beg the question…why are you here reading my stuff if you hate me and don’t support my blog? Weird…).
I have a strong partnership with BlueHost, so they’re giving my followers more than 60% off on web hosting. All websites need hosting, so this is by far the biggest no-brainer.
You shouldn’t build your house in someone else’s backyard. That’s why I recommend having your own website and blog. Don’t rely on your 9-5 job. Because that’s not your own back yard. You might one day be evicted. Same goes for social media platforms. Some of you have a huge following, but you’re not directing traffic to your own home (your website). Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
P.S. Here’s the winner of my most recent $100 cash give-away @wutchel on Instagram was the very first person (according to my time-stamped screenshot) to correctly guess the car I drove before I got my $120,000 Tesla X (it was a 2015 white Honda Accord – great car btw). So congrats again to @wutchel and for everyone else, just continue to stay tuned because you’ll eventually win (in my opinion), if I do cash give-aways till the day I die. Right? I mean it’s a dice roll isn’t it? Especially if you have notifications on for my post, you’ll be one of the few that see my give-ways the second it goes live right? So you have a fairly high chance if you’re regularly reading my blog posts. You have an edge.
